I. The Consultation Process
Soon after you schedule your consultation, Menopause Taylor will send you an email to confirm that you are scheduled for the stated time and platform (Skype, FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, or the phone). You will need to acknowledge receipt of that email.
In that email, she will invite you to send her as much information about yourself as you please. You can make it brimming with details and tell her about your reproductive life, any gynecologic problems you’ve had, your symptoms of peri-menopause, and your symptoms of post-menopause. You can include all your fears, concerns, and goals for your menopause management. You may also send her any labs, mammogram results, bone density results, etc. that you would like her to include in tailoring everything to you. For instance, if you want to adhere to a certain category of management options (herbs or diet & lifestyle, or whatever), you should tell her that. She will give you a deadline for sending all materials, and will not accept anything after that date.
Upon receipt of your materials, Menopause Taylor will get busy creating a document that gives you all the education you need to understand absolutely everything, points out the pros and cons of each option, and tailors it all to YOU, using the information you have provided. The document will be loooooong. Most are over 30 pages.
She will send you the document by email 48 hours before your consultation. You will need to acknowledge receipt of the document and read it in its entirely before the consultation. You will benefit greatly by reading it in advance. Light bulbs will go off like crazy, and if you’re like most women, you’ll feel that you’ve already gotten your money’s worth.
Menopause Taylor will contact you on the day and time of your scheduled session. Please be prepared in advance, with an excellent WiFi connection. familiarity in using the platform you have chosen, silence, and privacy.
During your consultation, Menopause Taylor will review the document and address any issues you want in order to fine tune everything and determine your best options. She’ll tell you exactly how to find the right kind of professional, how to have the conversation in order to get what you want, and the nuances of things like guidelines and insurance. She will leave nothing unaddressed.
After your consultation with Menopause Taylor, you will go to a professional of your choosing in order to get the actual hormones, medications, herbs, or supplements you prefer.
After the first consultation, you’ll be able to schedule mini-consultations (15-minute or 30-minute, in addition to full consultations) whenever you feel the need. She will keep records of your situation. Most women schedule mini-consultation whenever they go to their doctor and don’t understand what he or she said, or why. She will translate. She will make sense of everything. Most women schedule mini-consultation whenever they have a new test and they want her to explain the results. And all schedule mini-consultation whenever their situation changes and they need to re-weigh and re-balance their options.
The time you spend with Menopause Taylor will make everything about working with any other professional so easy. And they will love the fact that you have an actual education rather than a bunch of misconceptions that you got form the Internet. If your initial hormone regimen is not right, you’ll want to consult with Menopause Taylor before going to your doctor. She can prepare you for what to expect and what to request.
II. Your Role
Following are the things you will need to do for your consultation:
(1) Make sure you know how to use the platform you have chosen
(2) Acknowledge Menopause Taylor’s confirmation email
(3) Submit all materials on or before the designated deadline
(4) Acknowledge receipt of the document Menopause Taylor sends to you 48 hours before the consultation
(5) Situate yourself in a quiet, private location that has excellent WiFi for the consultation
Please refrain from sending any email correspondence to Menopause Taylor other than the items designated in this protocol. She will not respond to any messages regarding menopause issues. If you need her help, following your first consultation, even for just a quick question or something you forgot to address, save it for a future consultation.
Do not use the YouTube comment box, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to address your personal situation after a consultation. That will impair Menopause Taylor’s ability to keep all your data in your record.
III. Going Over-time
Sometimes, the allotted time is simply not enough to cover all the things that inadvertently come up during a consultation. In creating the document and sending it to you beforehand, Menopause Taylor’s goal is to avoid this problem.
However, it’s common (and understandable) that once you get into your discussion, more issues will arise. So, if it happens that you need more time for your session, you have options:
1. If neither you nor Menopause Taylor has a time constraint, you can continue the session and she can send you an invoice for the overtime. Each 15- minutes overtime is $60.00. A full hour overtime is $200.
2. If you or Menopause Taylor has a time constraint, you will end the session and you can schedule additional time by booking another appointment on her website or emailing Ioana at firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. If you prefer to end the session before covering all the material, you may do so and then schedule additional time by booking another appointment on the website or emailing Ioana at email@example.com.
