I. The Consultation Process
After you schedule your consultation and submit your personal information, I will create your Taylored Gynecologic document. This gives you all the education you need to understand absolutely everything about your circumstance, point out the pros and cons of each available option, and tailor everything to YOU, using the information you have provided.
At least 7 days before your consultation, I will send the document to you by email. It will be long - around 100 pages, and you will need to read it in its entirety before the consultation so that we can discuss its contents. You will receive a unique link for your conference with me 24-hours before your consultation.
If you have not received your document 7 days before your consultation, or the link for your consultation 24 hours beforehand, please contact me.
Choose a quiet, private place with excellent WiFi where you can sit still for your consultation. I will not conduct the consultation if you are walking, driving, or moving from place to place. Be sure your device (computer, iPad, or phone) is stable and cannot move. DO NOT HOLD IT IN YOUR HANDS. If you need to stick or Velcro it to something, do that. Get creative and do whatever you need to do to ensure that it does not move, wobble, or fall and that your consultation is not interrupted. Movement makes me nauseous!
On the day of your consultation, click the link for your consultation when it is time for the consultation.
During your consultation, I will review the document and address any issues you want in order to fine-tune everything and determine your best options. I’ll tell you exactly how to find the right kind of professional, how to have the conversation in order to get what you want, and the nuances of things like guidelines and insurance. I will leave nothing unaddressed.
Because I do not prescribe a specific course of treatment, you are free to consult a relevant professional to get the actual hormones, medications, herbs, or supplements you have chosen following your consultation.
II. Consultation Time
Each consultation finishes 5 minutes before its designated end time, meaning that I have a five-minute break between each client. Your consultation must start and finish promptly. So, to make the most of our time together, it is critical that you read the document I send you beforehand. Please plan ahead and be prepared. Use your time wisely.
III. Your Role
You will need to do the following in preparation for your consultation:
(1) Submit all materials on or before the designated 5-day (120-hour) deadline for a non-urgent or 2-day (48-hour) deadline for an urgent consultation.
(2) Anticipate your Taylored Gynecologic Handbook 7 days before your consultation by email. This will also be available in your account.
(3) Read the entire document carefully before your consultation
(4) Anticipate an email containing the link for your video consultation 24 hours before it begins.
(5) On the day of your consultation, situate yourself in a quiet, private location that has excellent WiFi
(6) Stabilize your device so that it is not moving
(7) Click the link for your consultation when it is time for the consultation, not before.
I only address issues regarding your circumstances using the questionnaire and consultation process. Do not use my contact form or YouTube comment box, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram accounts to communicate with me after a consultation.
Follow-up Consultations
After your first consultation, you can schedule a follow-up consultation as an Established Client whenever necessary.
IV. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Because scheduling a consultation makes that time unavailable for other clients, I do not issue refunds.
If you cancel between the time of booking and 10 days before your scheduled session, you may reschedule by paying a $100 rescheduling fee.
If you cancel 4 - 9 days before the scheduled session, you may reschedule by paying a $150 rescheduling fee.
If you cancel within 72 hours of the scheduled session, you will not receive a refund, and you cannot reschedule. You will have to make an entirely new appointment.
V. Deletion of Information
Once a client has received their consultation document, it is not possible, for legal reasons, to delete the record of information exchanged between the client and Dr. Taylor. This includes medical and personal data.
All information provided to Menopause Taylor is held on secure servers in accordance with federal and state guidelines and HIPAA.
